«Preparation and applications of metal (Ni, Co) or metal oxide (SnO₂, MnO₂, Fe_xO_y) nanoparticles deposited on carbon nanotubes»

The scientists of our department is involved in a joint Chinese-Ukrainian project which is realized in the laboratory of the faculty of chemical technology of the University of Huizhou. The main objectives of the project:

1. The synthesis of multiwalled carbon nanotubes with CVD-method
2. Obtain the catalysts for the synthesis of multiwalled carbon nanotubes with CVD method.
3. Synthesize laboratory samples of multiwalled carbon nanotubes.
4. Deposit the nanoparticles of metals (Ni, Co) or metal oxides (SnO₂, MnO₂, Fe_xO_y) on the surface of multiwalled carbon nanotubes with newest methods of soft chemistry and CVD.
5. Establish experimentally the properties dependence of obtained nanocomposites from the synthesis parameters and choose optimal.

Project Duration: 1 October 2015 to 1 October 2016.
