Course work from discipline "Materials of construction technology of inorganic substances" on "Department of ammonia synthesis" Physicochemical fundamental of ammonia synthesis have been considered, process flow sheet has been introduced. The drawings of the technological scheme of the main unit have been presented. Construction materials for technological equipment and apparatus have been chosen. AMMONIA SYNTHESIS, METHANATION, NITROGEN-HYDROGEN MIXTURE, SYNTHESIS COLUMN, CIRCULATING GAS, THE CATALYST BOX Basic machines. Body of the apparatus of ammonia synthesis is made of carbon steel 22Ni3Mo, 12Ni17, 15Ni28. Water heater can be made of stainless steel 10Ni13Mo. For the heat exchanger can be used steel of general quality VSt3sp; alloyed steels 08Cr13 or 12Cr18Ni10Ti. The body of the condensing columns are made from stainless steel 12Cr18Ni10Ti.
